Eight hundred seeds!! I think of all the many emotions one picks through in recovery, trying not to let some take root again, so that others can flourish. Lovely thoughts you've brought here describing the challenges of invasive plants, the stranglers, keep up the dedication in hard work. It's ALL so worth it.

What a beautiful point. Its all about choosing what we want to see more of in life, so we clear away the invasive, unhelpful and actively harmful so we can make room for the good stuff.

Thanks for such a thoughtful, insightful comment CJ! 🌳💜

Reminds me of the starfish story, a difference is made for every one.

Thank you Sally. It's interesting how many times being in nature prompts me to think about recovery, and vice versa. There are so many parallels between what we do to nature and what we do to ourselves.

Really appreciate your comment!

There are always so many analogies in nature to the lives we live. I always see metaphors when I go on a walk in the forest and have started capturing them here.
